    Chaffinch
    After digging out in the mud below, he came to this perch on top. Guess he's found something (may be an insect).
    Almost full frame.

    Nikon D70s + Sigma 500mm f4.5 EX
    f/6.3, ISO200, 1/400
    Essen, Germany.

    Views welcome...

    Like it a lot Kaushik! Good sharpness, although I might selectively sharpen the eye. Like the insect legs too. Might brighten the head just a little. Thanks for posting!

    Have you posted this image before? I'm sure I've seen it not too long ago? Overall nicely done, but I detect a slight greenish cast.

    edit: found your other post with this bird from a few months back...just a slighly different head angle.:)

    Ah yes, you are right, I had posted a similar image but the bird had different (only slightly :) ) pose - it was facing the lens more directly.
