A very cool image of black bear in the trees trying to grab something. Nice exposure and comp. Wonder what the black blob is in upper right side? another bear?

Hi John -- I really liked the scene, and the moment. Is there a tag on its ear ? and also is there a cub in the top rhs corner ?

Well, i feel the face needs a bit more punch, looks slightly thin to me.

You still did well considering shooting against the sky.

Nice moment and scene. TFS !

Hi John ... a very cool scene captured .
You did well under the given lighting .... I might have moved the crop a bit upward .

Its a fantastic action image that will immediately get viewers attention. Great result considering the lighting challenges. I agree that moving the bear up a little in the crop might improve the image and will enable you to eradicate more bright white sky
