    grab shot of a female American kestrel, BG was distant juniper forest. accidentally bumped the camera's dial and set it to f/11! fortunately was able to lift the underexposure in post


    shot with A1 and 600GM + 2X TC (1200mm) f/11 (by mistake!) 1/4000 sec ISO-2500 handheld. hope you like it

    Lighting is sweet. Love the pop against the smooth dark bkdrop.

    Just enough tilt to add some interest to the flat wing position. Looks like a little dinner left on the beak?

    Interesting that second primary is a little disheveled. Nice grab man!
