Oh my god ... another one , from the Squirrels
Having the sun out is limiting the options at my location , this one was more a grab shot and is finally a large crop .
50 % of the pixels are eliminated and the back drop is just deep shadow , nothing added or removed .
Cropping was necessary due to man made elements in the frame .

    Canon EOS R3
    EF 200 - 400 IS L with TC ( 560 mm )

F 5,6 ; Iso 1250 ; 1/1600 sec ; wish I had stopped down for more DOF , was just not quick enough and the situation was over .

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2022 ; cropped for comp

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous posting

    Cheers Andreas

OMG the same crappy posterization in the black BG after uploading .... really ruins the image , IMHO .

I like the colours in this one, quality looks good to me, I have no complaints about the background.

Very nice portrait with dark BG. well exposed and even after the crop the IQ is solid. Nice shot Andreas.

Exceptional work Andreas -- loved the details and your processing skills. Of-course to add to it excellent field craft as well.

    This looks fantastic.

    TFS !

Best squirrel portrait I have ever seen. Looks great against that black background. Love those ears.
