I saw this brown fishing owl perched high up in the tree. Its parents were in another tree overlooking it. Shot in Bandhavgarh National Park, India.

Shot with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II, EF 400mm F2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII. F5.6, 1/50 sec, ISO 100. Full frame.

Great find, do they really fish? I might go for a vertical crop as the left side of the image is too prominent for my taste. I would have increased the ISO for higher shutter speed.

Simply cropping to vertical thus eliminating all of the left half would give this image so much more impact! Love the look on the owl :-)
