    Default Black-necked Stilt

Shot 40 mins earlier than yesterday's avocet frame; hence more orange from backing hillsides.

Canon 600mm f/4 IS II on EOS R5
    1/4000 at f/4, ISO 400
Processed in LR CC. Did quite a bit of clean-up on water's surface in addition to cloning out two very diffuse specular highlights (distant Least Sandpipers) in the upper right.

Dorian, haven't seen the other you posted yet but this one is sure a gem.

The warm light is mega and you brought together a gorgeous reflection, great stepping-in pose and sweet reflection. You did a nice job on the imperfection vacuum job too.

As a super minor preference item I could take a sliver from bottom and add to the top but hardly worth mentioning. Well done.

A beauty, Dorian. Love everything in the image, the calm water, the raised foot, the post processing on the blacks and whites, a background to die for. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice indeed, my only reservation is that the water is so clean, it is pretty much inconceivable to see this in the UK.

Like the leg lift and warm tones. The reflection is killer. Nice work!
