A young tiger up close at Bandhavgarh. Used the 500mm to get the beautiful face of the tiger. Thanks for your feedback on my earlier image. Can't wait for Haseeb to share his images here with his 200-400 Lens.

I really like this, I am quite envious, I never managed to anything close to this when I was there. I like it as it is shown but feel perhaps a little more of a boost in the tiger could benefit, I attach my suggestion:

Hi Sanjeev, if you could have, then just a tad more DoF, even 5.6 rather than 5 would have been better. Sadly both the OP and Jon's RP aren't floating my boat, irrespective of viewing on the laptop. They both just don’t carry that tonal richness that this majestic of all cats has.

Thanks Jon and Steve. Appreciate the comments. Will work on it. Agree the DoF was thin.

The DoF is ‘ok’ but I just personally don’t shoot f/4 and albeit a fraction, I much prefer f/5.6 and you could have dropped to SS 1/1000.

Hi Sanjeev ... the content of this image is quite nice , the typical side look . Always worth to take some images ,
Crop is working well ... as is the exposure .
Sadly no version is doing it for me .... for two reasons . One is the level or control of noise in the image ( as posted ) . Second is , in all three image the color range is quite narrow .... hope you get my points .

    TFS Andreas

I think you should post a version Andreas, far easier to understand your comments visually.

Hi Doc-- agree with the above , you need to revisit the image.

You have done quite well in managing this frame from the back seat.

    TFS !
