    Dear all,
After a long hiatus Haseeb and me could catch up for a trip to Bandhavgarh last week. Haseeb planned the trip nicely and we had a great time with game drives in the day and sun downers & bonfires by night. We did get some nice sightings but the light as usual was low during crucial times (as in the case always )
Its been a while since I processed an image so the opening frame may be a bit edgy !
This was a male tiger in Magdhi zone.

H Sanjeev, awesome framing and I love that majestic head slightly tilted up. Framing works and everything is nicely proportioned, like the fact you can see the whole body.

Now I'm away and on the laptop, but colours look washed out, thin and overall very flat, WB to me looks cool (too blue) so a bit more Temp (going +) and the Tint going more green, may start to even things out, then using the HSL sliders you can begin to pump some colour back in. I'm not saying the attached is correct and may be a tad too much, but hopefully you have two markers in place where you can then work between them. Hopefully Jon & Andreas can chime in to to even things up.

Think you did well with the 5D & the techs.

Great to have you back and posting, but more so that you and Haseeb managed to get out. Keep well & stay safe.

    TFS

Hey Sanjeev .... great to see that you are alive and fit to go out and " hunt" some Tigers .
Hope Haseeb is doing good as well .

Nice opener ... love the behavior of the tiger , just wish for slightly more room on top and RHS .... just my take .
You are very brave pushing the 5D that far .... .
Agree with Steve about tones and color .... he gave you a direction that you can follow , more or less . At least he gave a lot of life and punch to the image , that is less present in your OP .

    TFS Andreas

Sanjeev, I think the capture is good and you handled the noise very well. Your original does look rather pale and needs a bit of a boost, I feel Steve's version is a little too colourful, here's my suggestion

Hi Doc -- What a lovely pose. I am with Andreas on various version.

You should revisit the frame and start from scratch . And again I feel I dX MK II instead of 5d MK IV should have been opted.

    TFS !
