Another Red kite, few frames on a previous post, slightly different processing. I put my hands up, I doctored the tail, it intersected the bird's left wing.

Super dynamic image, Jonathan. Under other circumstances, I like to see the head separated from the body a bit, but I love how the curve from the breast to the crown of the head is perfectly aligned and meets square in the center of the back. Shooting angle is a bit steep, but that hardly matters with the pose and the way that yellow eye sucks us right in. Looks great in high key. Much prefer this to plain blue sky. Fanned tail is also nice.

Hi Jon, I like the curvature of the head, kind of compliments the curve of the wings. Would like more room all round so the subject can breathe, just too tight for me.

I doctored the tail, it intersected the bird's left wing.
You need to soften the edge, it's too sharp.

Hi Jon .... cool posing of the kite . Well timed capture ...
Your surgery skills ... are ok .... but should be trained a bit more

Tonal range and contrast is looking ok as well .... as are the colors . But what do you think have I found .... in terms of colors , very obvious to me . Maybe you cannot see that specific color spectrum ....

I agree the tail doctoring was less than ideal, I have to admit I didn't take enough time.
Steve I'll take another looks at the crop, the colour spectrum Andreas, I deliberately oversaturated the oranges, the light was flat and colours in the raw were rather washed out but I don't know what it is that you are referring to.

Here's a repost taking into account the critique above:
