Hi folks .. if one think it cannot get worse in terms of shooting conditions , here you go , today even darker and more water from the sky .
I gave up after roughly 2 hours ....

So the techs went the "wrong way " ..... but I have to say the R3 is performing well in dynamic range and Iso performance , well from what I have seen so far !!!!

The " leaf umbrella " matter of taste .... I left it in for fun . Giving the illusion to shelter from the rain . Check the muddy nose of this little critter .... just lovely looking .

    Canon EOS R3
    Ef 200 - 400 IS L with TC engaged at 533 mm
    HH

    5,6 ; Iso 12.800 ; 1/640 sec

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2022 .

    Thanks for watching and commenting

    Cheers Andreas

Andreas I think this is utterly fantastic, love the composition his curls, muddy nose and the rain drops. Super shot, I have just one reservation and I may be wrong but is that a peanut in the centre at the base of the squirrel? If it isn't it looks like one and I would get rid of it and then I think you really do have an outstanding image.

Nice one Andreas, less at the foot and loose the 'umbrella', it does add anything IMHO. Hazelnuts or Acorns, peanuts are a big no no for this subject as it's not natural. Muddy nose is cute.

Thanks Steve ... you kept the techs short .
A shame as I am " sucker for techs " ..... so please inform me about your thoughts via a different channel .

Have to wait until the 15th when I’m back home. Shoot me a raw.

Again AMAZING RESULTS especially in those conditions. No matter how good the quality and techs are imho it is having 'something different' that takes an image to that next level. The muddy nose is just that in this image imho
