It's always nice to have shorebirds with a prey item. Here's one of the only frames of this Lesser Yellowlegs where it had a good (if not perfect!) head angle during the many seconds it carried this bug around.
Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1000s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, small crop for comp, contrast and sat to taste, minor water clean up.
Noce one, Dan. Love the prey item and the prey ID! Nice soft light. Head angle is pretty good. So is the bug angle.
