Even without the ice-covered vegetation this rocks...but those take the image up by even more notches. Very appealing. If anything I'd remove the white specks on the far wing, but such a high-impact image!!

Spectacular ice stuff and bird. Bummer on the messed up tail feathers. The pose and dorsal view are fantastic. In a perfect world the bird would be about 2 inches more above the foreground ...

    ps: Why not ISO 400?

Dude, this is awesome. Lighting is fantastic, and the pose is great. Tons of feather detail. Love how the lighter head is turned towards us. But it's the ice that really make this frame super unique. We'd get ice like this after ice storms when I lived in New York and Massachusetts, but nothing similar since I moved to California. A super memorable image. Great work.

I dont know, it was interesting for me ,Maybe it's due to a 1/3 stop reduction of exposure

love this frame, perfect light and the look back is gorgeous. Ditto Artie on the missing tail feather, but all else is great including the frozen elements of the habitat
