Pose is great, background is beautiful, and the direct eye contact sucks us right in. I hear you about the shadow, but that's minor compared to the positive points. The eye is as sharp as it can be!
Nice colour palette Arash and I like the water droplets on the underneath of the right wing.

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
Flight angle is very nice and the top BG color makes it a bit different than a sky shot...

I can certainly live with that bill/wing merge as at least that bill tip is very visible and well defined. Such a beautiful image.
Love it all, especially the green strip at the top. All the bird needed to do was lower its head a bit ...
