    Outstanding as far as I'm concerned. Love the background. The intimate eye contact sucks you in.

    Pose is great, background is beautiful, and the direct eye contact sucks us right in. I hear you about the shadow, but that's minor compared to the positive points. The eye is as sharp as it can be!

    Flight angle is very nice and the top BG color makes it a bit different than a sky shot...

    I can certainly live with that bill/wing merge as at least that bill tip is very visible and well defined. Such a beautiful image.
