Hard to get down wing position with this species so I was happy with this.
Taken in an area I could only access 10-2 so shadow is what it is...

Kilauea Point? Because I know that lighting can be an issue at that spot. Regardless, the pose and stare are great. The aquamarine BG nicely suggests the tropical seas this species favors. I might lose a little off the top of the frame for a slightly tighter view of the subject. Upper part feels a bit vacuous as is. But more personal preference than anything.
If you gotta have a shadow its great to have it in the perfect spot. Well done.
