    As the late sun hung just above a clear horizon this early arrival to nightly roost took it in.

    Really nice, David! Exposure and details are excellent, and the head angle is perfect. The big beak can make for a compositional challenge, but I think you nailed it. Slightly-elevated shooting angle gives him a larger-than-life personality here.
