Hi Paul, Love the BG and the pose with that stare your way. Perhaps just a tad more sharpening and contrast boost. Is this FF?

Hi David. Thank you for the feedback. The original crop had more background which I thought was too much, so I cropped it more, probably to the detriment of the IQ. It looks pretty contrasty on my monitor...actually thought it may be too much already? Not sure it needs more sharpening though.

Paul, if you still have the original TIFF I would suggest have a look at 100% and follow the outline of the bird, you will see an area of noise, it is most evident around the talons and in between the left wing tips. The latest masking feature in PSCC should make this a breeze to noise reduce and sharpen.

The contrast looks fine. The head looks very funky with not a lot of detail. The bird's right eye could use some Eye Doctor work: darken the pupil. I am not a fan of the edge-on look at the near-wing.

This is obviously a juvenile and obviously a female. I've never seen one like this of any age with such an extensive brown necklace.

Thanks Artie. Agree with the "funky" head look and darkening the pupil. However, I do like the near wing. Cheers.

The BG in this one is much better, near wing and soft/blurry head holds this one back, I also see some noise on the underwings.
