    Default Barred Owl close-up

Same bird as yesterday, just closer. I would have preferred a vertical composition, but it didn't set up well the way the bird was positioned on the perch (and slightly above me).

Notta lotta light under cloud and canopy on this day, so I'm happy with this handheld result at 1/80.

Nice portrait for low light. You even managed to get a little of the iris.

Dang, pretty strong esp for 1/80 Dorian. Nice to see the R5 in your hands. How are you adjusting?

Owls are so great, it's hard not to love them particularly as close as you were.

This composition works well IMO. Nice even frontal light and really strong bkg.

    Really solid, TFS!
