    An impressive image pleasing tones, lovely pose. The broad band of featureless foreground is perhaps a little dominant (was the DOF so narrow or perhaps was there some brushing?) Unfortunately the eyes spoil it for me. I appreciate they do have to blink but the light seems to emphasise the eye covering which is not so attractive as the eyes themselves.

    Beautiful wingspread. I suspect that there was a ridge of dirt in the foreground. The poor thin looks blind ...

    Sasan, the composition works well from my view. Love the spread pose.

    Bit of a bummer on the membranes. Do you have another shot in the series with the lids open?

    Also, just a bit of sharpening halo along the top edges. Maybe you tried to push through some extra sharpening?

    The stars of the show here are the two beautifully lit wings! Bad luck indeed with those nictitating membranes, and I do wish a least a small part of the feet were visible. Very good low angle - was this photographed form a blind? A very strong frame...
