    The banking angle is really dynamic, my eyes are immediately drawn to those of the Kite. I like the inclusion of the trees below and the blue fading to white sky is also very appealing. It all works rather nicely from my POV.
    I'll be keeping an eye out on the forecast - hoping to get to Gigrin this month or November.

    Will, man this works really well. Congrats on the good light!

    The stare is unbeatable and the crop is great with the tree line going down diagonally. The beak is super sharp and I am good with the dof here.

    I think you're just a bit hot on the whites in the head and the beak. Not sure if some channel blending would help or not but worth taking a look.

    All else is sweet, the Kite King strikes again!!

    DATPCA! The white feathers on the head look fine from here; the right side of the bill looks quite bright ...

    Artie, I wasn't sure at first so I pulled it into LR and got blinkies on the head too.

    Either way, slighting taming them should do the trick.
