Some time ago, I posted an image from this series and received several constructive suggestions. I found another in the series that I liked better and was able to incorporate much of what was suggested. This is pretty much as taken, slight trim for comp, slight levels adj, sat, sharpening applied.
Thanks for looking and for your comments.

Wonderful composition and an unusual one for a willet. Love the Beautiful pose and the excellent detail. Congratulations on a very striking image Grace !!!

Strange to see a willet with no water in sight. Really beautiful with the green offsetting the bird.

I like this one even better, I would only try to clone out the OOF leaf underneath the right foot.

Sharp and in good light. I really like the environmental elements of this image!

Nicely composed, I like the way the bird is framed by the OOF leaves and the perch kinks upwards perfectly. The bird is clear and sharp, nicely detailed and you even managed to catchlight. Perfect for me, well done.

What a lovely set up and framing. Just a little bright but very well composed.

This one is an improvement on an already good original post. Well done Grace! It's generally a good idea to save photos for a period of months, because there's always a couple of gems hiding in there. Thanks for posting!

Really nice image Grace. Love the vegetation framing front and back. :) BG is smooth and perfect IMO. :)
