    Another recent Duck image from a local pond.
    It is tight, almost full frame, came too close but since they usually never do, I kept it.
    Bad shade light as well.
    D500, 500pf, f5.6, 1/640, iso1800.

    River of blood, unusual color. A nice view of the bird but its position is a little awkward. Maybe the face could be dodged a little?

    Last time I got close enough to one of these was way too long ago now! The face looks like it needs a bit more sharpening, at least from my end. Interesting pose, and the bits of food hanging from the bill is good.
