    I captured this one from a boat on my latest trip to the Bass Rock....I did some cloning on the dark BG to remove the unsightly white stuff, then reduced the shadows to make it even darker....HH....ACR and PS2021..

    Will, sweet close up man.

    Fantastic detail, as expected with a close portrait. I like the tight comp personally.

    I do think you have a little room with exposure on this one. Also, there seems to be a little bit of graininess even at ISO 1000 around the neck and beak - did you have to lift exposure in post?

    Oh, and check the faint beak silhouette just above and in front of the beak, probably from cloning?

    Good portrait with lots of excellent details. The black background works well in making the white subject stand out. That blue eye-ring is rather neat!
