    Default Grebe - "I Believe I Can Fly"

    Little guy took an amazing stretch and then turned it into this... :)

    Well caught and a rather tricky image to process I would guess. The reeds of course are very contrasted, maybe easier said than done but I would attempt to make them less dominant in the image. I may be doing you an injustice because I have now downloaded to PS and there was no Color Profile assigned, when I made it sRGB the image looked a little more balanced.

    Such a fun image. Very sharp, and a very "chrome-like" water surface around the grebe. The BG is what it is (very prominent), but on a positive note it gives us a good sense of habitat. Was the throat burned? It looks greyed-out.

    makes no sense, when an image doesn't have a color profile the browser in either Mac or PC will display default (sRGB) so converting it to sRGB has no effect, I suspect your system is messed up.
