Hi Brian....this is something different and I like it....The blues on the bird contrast well with the red in the rock.....Nice pose, HA and the open bill adds....Well spotted and executed.....I remember U2 playing at Red Rock in 1983....

Brian, I love the color contrast this image creates! I like the depth from the cliff and the detail and processing looks spot on to my eye. I sure do miss Red rocks! This image reminds me of home. Nicely done
Nice shot, the blue jay, not surprisingly, seems to have a lot to say for himself, yes something a little different.
Different indeed, and I like it! The tail tip pushing on the rock is a neat detail. The reflection on the eye is a bit much (IMO), even if natural, so performing a bit of "eye doctor" would clean that up nicely. The blue on red colour scheme works very well!
Thanks all for the feedback!
Will, that's awesome. Were you there? Some of the greatest ever have played here
Brian what a color contrast ... in this posting , very cool .
The rock does look quite interesting with all the various shades of color and tone , I like it .
The bird it self shows that stunning fine detail , which I like a lot in almost all of your postings .... a matter of gentle processing .
I was looking back and forth in PS and checked the color , as I was not 100 % with it .... check the color in the beak . Finally I neutralized the beak and the rock and other colors looked cleaner ... to me , if you like ty yourself .

Hi Andreas, really appreciate your comments!
I did spend quite a bit of time on WB on this image and believe I got it really close as seen. Checked the one spot on the beak and I can see greens a bit low, but if you check the neck, chest, eyebrow, cheek, eye reflection and most of the white spots on the bird, I get R & G to closely match and B to be accurate although it could, perhaps, benefit for +2 warmth I'd say. There are gray spots that can appear too have much magenta though so I see your point, but do think this one was very close accurate to an out-of-light scene with the rich, magenta red rocks :-)
Hi Brian ... matter of taste in terms of color , glad you are happy with your choice of color
Cheers Andreas
