Hi Paul....I like this one better than your previous....Who needs a fish in the mouth when you have a flight pose as good as this....Nicely detailed feathers...The BG shows the bird well....If mine I would try reducing the contrast a little ....and raise the shadows on the birds head area....

    Well done

The dorsal view is great. Nice head angle and I do like the flaired out tail.

    Hi Paul,
A nicely captured action shot of this Tern which looks like it's about to go into a dive - certainly looks like it's spotted something! The pose and the dorsal view give a great view of the bird, and it is always good to catch the tail flared like that. Looks very sharp and with enough depth of field to encompass the bird. Great wide-open performance from the 500PF by the looks of it. Good positioning in the frame and space around the bird, for my taste.
    Cheers, David

Great action pose, Paul. And the BG is cool as well. The blacks do look a bit heavy, so I'd look into raising them a bit. Alternatively, you might be able to drop the contrast a bit. Composition is really nice with him staring into the wide part of the frame.

Thank so much everyone for the feedback...much appreciated as always. Will take a second look at the contrast Dorian.
