Default QA Nuisance Or A Beauty ?

The Rock Pigeon introduced from Eurasia has a feral population in most of the country. Regarded as a nuisance in most areas the bird is quite beautiful when captured in the right light. Image captured at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Joe, you definitely caught this one in the right light. The iridescence is fab.

Nice details shown, solid dof for the whole head and beak.

I know their feathers are more coarse, but it appears pretty grainy from my view. Maybe you can go back and see if you can reduce that just a little.

Otherwise, I could see one less boxy, like a 5x4 with a little off the right.

Super colours Joe, fine details, though as mentioned it does seem a little grainy. Yes they are regarded as a nuisance over here where they are referred to as feral pigeons, not to be confused with the Stock dove which is on the Amber list.

A very nice portrait of a very common bird.
