    The red shouldered hawk is my favorite hawk, their plumage is almost rust color here in CA. A very skittish and fast raptor that's difficult to approach in the wild. I hope you like this frame

    Sweet. It is amazing how much darker they are than the FL birds. What was the situation? I wonder how the 2nd, 3r, and 4th primaries were damaged.

    About as nice a wings-up pose as they come for this species. I like the simple backdrop with neutral tones and the great light angle served you nicely!

    Was this one at 1200 Arash?

    Thanks Joel, no, C1P is only used for RAW conversion, the rest is still done in PS per usual

    Very nice. I do like the dangling feet. The west cost hawks I've seen on here are way darker than the ones I see here.
