Arash, man this is super cool. A great angle to the lens, beautiful wings up position and lovely light.

Extra is the sand being flung up behind. What are all the darker spots in the URC?

Super shot Arash, the timing is excellent (bet you have half a dozen similar ones too!)

Nice! I saw my first ever Whimbrel the other day - actually 72 of them all together!! Unfortunately it was a passing migrating flock well over 100 up in the air. Cool take-off pose here, the wet sand being kicked up by the feet is a neat detail. I don't often see processing artefacts from you, so I am wondering if anything was done in lower right corner as there is a bit of smudging there.

Perfect timing on this take off Arash! Love the sand kicking up and great wing position. Also wondering about the lower rhs?

Looks like the bird is about to fall over. Nice pose & light. Lower right corner looks odd.

Thanks all I obviously did a bad job of cloning out an OOF sandpiper that was foraging in the lower right !

Thanks Brian those are likely bits of foam on the water that look like smudges
