    These guys look petty cool! I love the texture on the head and face. Good BG, and perfect head turn. I'd personally be tempted to burn the wing feathers a bit as they seem pale due to them reflecting the sun from that angle. Strong portrait overall!

    Looks good to me Joe....I like your crop and good details on the bird's head...I would sharpen the tip of the bill and reduce the HL's on the wing, which would bring out more detail.

    Considering the 'ugly' subject, you made him quite handsome.

    Really nice mottled bkg and great pose and eye contact. Processed well Joe, you're finding a stride IMO.
