Well they don't come much cuter than this, a fine shot those big dewy eyes are really engaging. I sense you have made the crop this shape for good reason but if there was a possibility of making it slightly less tall and a little wider I think it would help presentation.

Without a doubt this is you best to date John, a sweet and cute image of Bambi.

I like the alert pose an pricked up ears, colours appear better too. DoF, well personally shooting wide open don't see any advantage and here having more in focus would have been nice, just to bring in the rear of the fawn. The white patch under the belly in the grass is a bit unfortunate. I do question the framing and perhaps shooting Landscape may have been better, too much negative space above currently IMHO, but if there was more space all round, then potentially it could work in a 'commercial' POV.

    Hello John,

One of the best I have seen from you, congratulations!

Beautiful pose from this little one. Nice detail on that cute face, love those eyes and direct stare, subject stands out so well against that deep green BG.
I agree with Jon and Steve regarding composition, a bit too much at the top. Otherwise a super frame and I really enjoyed viewing, thank you so much for sharing

    Kind regards,
