Looks good to me... sharp, nice colors, good background. Like you mentioned regarding water ranch not many species of ducks here in Florida yet. Thank you for sharing.

Love it. The background could not be more complimentary, great wing position and the look on his face is as if he's been caught. :)

Hi Kurt ... great incoming shot . I am ok with the wing pose and the sneak peek of the head is cool .
I do quite like the color depth and the tonal depth .... but would go slightly less dense in saturation and the deeper tones ( not globally !!! ) , just to open up things a fraction and bring out a touch more detail . As a possible option ....
Very cool colorful BG , very nice to see the different colors looks way more interesting than the monochromatic colored BG .
If you have have used Topaz Denoise ( which I think you have ) I might reduce it on the subject .

Kurt, the eye contact and pop of colors make this one. It's nice you got some Shoveler drakes this early.
Great landing pose and the water droplets add effect. Love the ripples in the primaries too :-)
Well done!

Great incoming pose. I do like that mottled background. Now all you need is the drake.
