Had a blast with Kurt Bowman shooting hummers south of Tucson, AZ last month. What a great host and guide he was!

We did a little set up and enjoyed many beautiful species. Here is a juvenile Broad-billed Hummer coming in for a morning snack.

Maybe yes on a tad less light - but love the detail and color on the bird and the crop is very nice. Cheers -

Brian i think this is nothing short of superb well done. I am guessing that is pollen on the upper mandible, super wing position.

Brian, this turned out great! Love the pollen on the beak, the wing position and perfect crop! It was great having you out here. Hope you can make it again next year and maybe it’ll be a normal or great year for hummers.

Very nice hummer frame. The flower makes this for me. Gives a nice amount of balance.

sweet and simple frame Brian, executed well, from the settings there was no flash (?) which makes it challenging with hummers but you did well. I really like the hint of yellow in the bill

Quite beautiful. Nice feather detail, great colours, and the outstretched wings is a top-notch pose. Good dark BG, and the pollen on the bill is too cool.

Jon, much apprecaited. Yes that's correct, there are tons of wildflowers this year and it was a feeding frenzy

Paul, thanks man. I guess I didn't realize you don't have them down here? Worth a trip to N America one day just for these, if nothing else! Ecuador is world class too.

Kurt, I will be making down for sure. Thank you again!

Hey Brain .... my " MR Clean Image Amigo "
Back on track with a " clinical surgery Image " .... super sharp and precise work !!!

The subject and the flower are jumping right at me , well processed Brian . The flower is really cool and the pollen on the beak is taking this up some notches .
Super cool work from capture to finish .

Just one thing .... the BG looks a bit " grainy" to me . Might come from downsampling

    TFS Andreas
