    Default Ring-necked Duck... Wing Flap

I captured this image at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Not quite the light angle I wanted. When ducks dunk and get their feathers wet most times a wing flap will follow. I was on the light angle but when the duck popped and began flapping I had to quickly move to my right to be square with the duck. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Joe, was always a challenge ID'ing these for me especially when the iridescence on the next doesn't pop. Very similar to Scaup.

I'm good with the pose here, nice post- feeding and rouse display. Great eye contact. Nice underwing plumage.

Biggest issue for me is the off light angle, which seems pretty significant (close to 90 degrees?). Would have been nice to have more of the chest and chin lit up.

Looks good to me. A nice flapping pose and those ripples in the water are nice.
