    Branch below the Nighthawk reminds my wife of a hand giving sign language! Anyone know the meaning?
    Canon EOS 1D Mark III, 500F4L IS @ 700mm, Iso400, 1/160 sec, F7.1 Crop is approx 20% of capture. Hand held in Manual Mode

    Is that the "I Love You" branch?


    Neat bird, and I like the unusual framing with the environment. My only change would be to eliminate the sharpening halo in front of the breast.

    Too much sharpenning here Layton and I suggest to crop the OOF vertical branch at the right of the image.

    Pose and exposure look good. Another vote for removing the trunk.

    +1 on removing the trunk to the right
    Other than that it looks good, nicely exposed, good head angle
