    Not much wrong with this Andreas! Colours and composition look good the pose is eye catching, DOF good. Maybe the nose is not quite as sharp as the eyes and whiskers but all in all a lovely shot.

    Thanks Jon ... you are right with the nose , it is shortage of the DOF .
    I could have given the nose and extra round of sharpening , but did actually not realized it that much .

    Love the pose. Almost like the seal is waving saying hello. Nice low angle as well. Framing is bang on. Nice detail.

    Being on a tripod Andreas you could have dropped the SS and gained more DoF which it needs here, just for the nose, or move the FP so you have a 1/3 - 2/3 focusing distance, but still feel F/8. The green/grey stone LHS draws my eye, an easy fix.
