I have been away for a while. A work project and needed to back away from the birds for a while. Captured the Spoonbill last weekend and hope to make it out again this weekend.

love the pose, soft light and the details, you nailed the wing position too, I find the band in the BG running through the spoonie a bit distracting, also the image could go just a touch brighter on my monitor

Super image quality, gorgeous colours idyllic pose. I note Arash's comment regarding brightness, I agree but having said that I rather like the overall brightness - it makes for comfortable viewing from my perspective.
Killer wing position, nailed the focus on the eye, and bad luck on the position of the beach in the BKGR.
with love, artie

Love the wing position and sharpness.
I think yje bird could go a bit brighter but masl out the bright beach in the BG.
Too bad about the beach in the BG but still a lovely frame,
Gail
Robert:
Agree with the other folks about the beach, but a lovely shot of the spoonie. I agree with Gail about how to handle the brightness. I would consider boosting the bird, and also toning down the brightest green patch on top of the beach. I do believe that if you shift the relative brightness more towards the spoonie and away from the beach, that it will really help highlight the bird and downplay the beach. You could also reduce the saturation a bit on the greenery to reduce its impact.
Cheers
Randy

Very nice Robert....All looks good here, Great flight pose, HA and POV....Lovely colours throughout....I agree with Randy regarding highlighting the bird from the BG.

Beautiful wing position and lovely frame. I agree about how to brighten the bird as well. Bummer about the beach in the BG, but still great work!
Robert, nice to see a post from you. Always enjoyed your images.
The bird is just gorgeous. Colors and details are rendered beautifully. Subject felt a bit dark to me then I read through the comments. I wonder if it just feels as such with the bright beach behind? I think Randy and Gail had the right idea.
Overall, a real pleasure to view. Keep em coming!
