Default Yellow-billed Magpie - Color me Splendid!

Haven't gotten the banking away from the light shot I'd like but even so, the color on these guys when well lit is off the charts.

Crazy/great looking birds which I have never seen.. Wing position noted.. It is also a bit hot, something to correct next time.
    Sharp and nice BG.

this one is a killer frame, from the wing position police this gets a pass because that's how these guys fly most of the time, head turn and details....just superb...wish it was mine

A fine shot, if it were mine I would definitely have a look at the bill.

Sweet looking bird , nice pose .... I think you did well in capturing this .
Personally I think the HL and 1/4 tones could stand some more tonal depth .

Thanks for all the feedback. I brought the bill back a bit (and a touch around the eye). Hopefully this helps.
Yeah, I actually have some down wing shots of the fella but the raised wing allowed the blue to show up better given the light angle so I went with this one.

The calling head turn, and the colors on the tail feathers, make this for me.

Wow, what a colorful bird. I have never seen a Magpie before, a real treat. Nice flight image, head turn and wing position. Thank you for sharing.

What a great frame of this amazing bird. Killer background. I like the head turn and open bill.
