Like that he's clean (I somehow always find dirty ones)... and the light on the face is lovely. TFS.

Great image Joe and what can you improve on ? About as perfect as one could wish for nice details and processing. I should have hundreds of these guys. All over the state and a huge island rookery not far. But vey spooky to get near here. Love that blue in the background. TFS

Very nice... Good wing position for these birds, about as good as you can get.

Super shot Jo, I like the processing and the eye is very engaging - he almost looks as if he is giving you a quick glance.

DATPCA. It looks as if you did a good job of lightening the underwing shadows ...

Well done, Joe. Great wing position and slight head angle. Very good exposure and processing.

Andreas, I hear you regarding the crop. A tendency of mine when I have a beautiful bird I crop tight to show off the bird. Easy fix. Thank you for viewing and commenting.

Man, it would be hard to tell this was on a lake in a city. Nice pose and blue water background.
