    From last winter, unfortunately the water in this one wasn't as calm as I would have liked, but it could have been worse


    A1 600mm f/4 GM + 2X TC (1200mm) f/8 1/3200sec ISO-1600 handheld. processed with C1P. hope you like it

    That's a beauty! Love the colours and I also especially like the large water droplet on the back. From my POV the water adds further interest as opposed to detracting attention from the bird.

    The detail at 1200mm is amazing, and the big water droplet on the back is fun as well. Loving the low angle stuff. Oh, and this is an Eared Grebe! They out number Horned Grebes probably 100:1 on the bayside in winter.
