Default Yellow-billed Edward Scissorhands - I mean, Magpie

Had a ball shooting Acorn Woodpeckers, Scrub Jays and Yellow-bills on Friday. Will definitely be hitting the area again (about a hour from my home). Anyhow, I liked the angle and look on this one. Light wasn't perfect but good enough I think. TFL.

    Hey Jay,

This one is beyond outstanding. The sharpness on the face and eyes is amazing (as is the a1) and the pose is unique and dramatic. Can't wait to see more like this one. The processing is spot on as well. I can only imagine this with an all gold BKGR.

    with love, artie

Jay, really cool flight post man. Pretty sharp and it's neat to see some detail in the head and shoulder area.

Bkg is cool, different than what we often see. My only nit is the light angle as you mentioned, but still a sweet capture.

    Congrats.
