    Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
    hand held, natural light, 65% of full frame

    Nikon D300 ,Nikkor 200-400mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S VR
    1/2000s f/4.0 at 400.0mm iso320

    With the Niagara Gorge in the background, getting a lock on these speedsters is far from easy, and more then frustrating when tou miss!! always a challenge, and I can't wait to go back! I might go with a tighter crop if I print this.

    It sure is frustrating when you see a great photo op but can't lock focus! Looks like you did a nice job here. Good eye contact, light, and sharpness. Wing position could be better. You guys are having a field day with the peregrines! Thanks for posting.

    Great eye contact in this one. I might go for a tighter crop and lighten the part of the body underneath the wing.

    A nice sharp bird on a complimentary bg. I agree you could probably crop a bit off the right.
