    Taken from Whale boat in Monterey Bay, BG is another boat,
    we were following a pod of Orcas when a couple Albatross showed up.
    Handheld head on shot taken on Boat......

    Very good capture of the bird and while it is interesting to see the context I would have removed that background boat in a flash. The bird is too good to have to compete.

    Artistically-speaking the BG is what it is....but....it is a very marketable image as is for tourism or environmental agencies. Anyhow, the head-on pose is very neat. I love the diagonal, and the long wingspan.

    Saw these guys on Midway. DATPA and I do not mind the boat at all. The only thing that bugs me is the near-merge of the bird with the bow of the boat ...That could be fixed if you wish.
