    Hello Everyone,

I would like to introduce myself with this first post. I am Pramod from Bangalore, India and I joined BPN just today. Made this image near a small reservoir near Bangalore during the tropical winters early this year.

    Shot with Canon 30D, Canon 300F2.8 L IS USM + Canon 2X TC II, Gitzo, F8, 1/1000s, ISO 200.

    Let me know your thoughts.

Welcome Pramod! A great first post too! I like your composition here, and sharpness is good. Fill flash would have helped bring out detail in the shadows, but some of that can be recovered in PS. I might clean up that feather on top of the head. Look forward to seeing more of your photos from India! Thanks for posting.

Welcome to BPN, Pramod! Very nice first post. I like the eye contact and details, in fact it looks a bit oversharpened. I might decrease contrast a few points for more details in the shadows. Fill flash might have helped in this situation. Keep them coming!

Excellent portrait Pramod - very well composed. Some lovely lighting there.
The rock seems a tad over-sharpened. That apart, its lovely.
