    Nice shot timing and content. I think you were on a hiding to nothing though determining the optimal focus point and DOF.
    I get the impression parts of the image have a slightly smoothed/smeared appearance, could this be NR, perhaps not maybe just DOF?

    Sweet light and posing. It looks like they are all within the dof which starts on the near edge of the hole across to between the adult bird's legs.

    I like it. Nice view of the kickstand tail and those feet. Nice poses on the little ones.

    Good looking frame. The young are like rebellious teenagers here; they really carry the frame. You did as well as you could have given the lack of light. You really needed another stop or two of depth, but that was have been a huge ask given the conditions.
