    This very successful mom (two broods of three) was just dunking for algae to offer to her two bigger chicks. When she saw the runt up on the bank (and me as well), she raised her head and called the alarm. She was still soaked (reason for sheen) and I had to remove a couple water drops on lower neck/chest due to ETTR just a little too far (just looked like white splotches due to fully blown highlights). You can see a thread of the algae she had just fed chicks in beak. Created just as the late sun peaked through heavy cloud cover. While the exposure was a tad too far for brightest whites, only had to desat the reds slightly to get back all detail on the beak/shield.
