    Hand held image whilst squatting as low as possible. This specimen is to a large extent still in summer plumage, picking up food morsels at the tide line.

    Just love the plumage on these beauties and the soft light helped to saturate the colors. I also love the complimentary surrounding environment. TFS

    A nice view of this turnstone amongst the stones so to say. Framing looks good and I do like the pose.
