You do find the best light, lovely shot. I lie the trailing droplets.

Arash, sweet wings down pose. Nice detail as it's great when you can see the 'teeth' in the beak. Gorgeous head colors.

Love the tan to blue gradient in the bkg and the droplets. I'd consider removing the lower catchlight and bright spot in front of the eye. Also love to see a bit of detail/texture in the speculum if you were able to brush those areas a bit, although I do realize there is far less detail there than other areas on the duck.

    Well seen, tfs!

Lovely colours and pose the water droplets make this that bit more special.
I am still puzzled: I am expecting to see some albeit limited detail in the plumage - I get an "impression" in the head and neck but that's all. The breast has just a hint.. am I expecting too much/was it a distant shot/was it a large crop/is NR obscuring detail...... it may be just me?

Thanks Jon but I have no idea what in the world you are looking at. This is a full frame shot and details look fantastic from here. The wing feathers did not show iridescence since the light was coming from the side.
