    A last contribution to this month's theme, a common Mourning Dove taken with my buddy Kurt Bowman in Gilbert, AZ a few months ago.

    There are some things I don't like about the frame (i.e. the oof shoulder), however this canvas has some unique colors that I thought were worthy of sharing. Interesting how gritty their plumage is up close...

    Also interesting, in a close zoom, the black ring around the eye subtly fades into blue creating a look of softness on the subject but it is nice and sharp in actuality.

    Love the bird. Love the BKGR (of course). Neat iridescence. Well-framed in an often-awkward situation. Did you get the same shot on WWDO?
