Lovely Gail....great title.....The rim light on the chick looks amazing...Great POV and the colours throughout are very nice...Just a thought....You probably tried this, but wondering if lifting the shadows on the chick would work...In any case it is very nice as is...

    Good work

Hey Gail, Good to see you back :). Don't you just love when a group of photographers shows up at the beach at 9am on a sunny day? Love this striking image, proof that dead-center can work even with horizontals at times.

Gail, thank you so much for serving the BPN community so well!

A real eye popper you got here. You crushed this rim lit shot. Kudos to you for breaking through the creativity barrier (not that all your shots are not already creative).

Beautiful transition of the sun into the frame and outstanding color. I too like the centered subject especially because the sun creates the asymmetry that our eyes sometimes desire.

    A real treat, well done!

I love it Gail! I especially like the careful placement of the incoming light in upper left corner. To add on to artie's comment, I don't know how many times I've seen photographers arrive to start their day a few hours past sunrise on a sunny day only to ask me "Is there anything good to photograph?" to which I reply "There was, but you missed it a while ago".

Thank you for your time as moderator Gail, it was very much appreciated, and thank you also for sticking around

Beautiful colours and composition works well, the rim light makes the image for me - such an attractive frame, congratulations Gail
