Hi Jon, nice capture and I quite like the inclusion of the thistle(?).

If this is with the new WF then it's suffering from what I said the other day, it's overall out by just under a stop? The image is dark and very flat in terms of vibrance and this is a colourful Butterfly. Not sure about the stems towards the bottom, but in some strange way when removed it looks a bit unbalanced. Did you try to remove the pink thistle from around the head?

Overall if you up the Exposure and get some of that lovely richness back in the colour this will be a cool image.

    WDYT?

Thanks Steve, glad I got a reply, I did several versions of this image and wasn't entirely happy. I will bare in mind your observations. Yes I did some thistle removal, less than ideal.

So pretty! Superb colours! I like it Jon, well framed too Nice RP from Steve, brighter and reveals all that fine detail.

Image does look less cluttered without the little stem - it's just that now the butterfly has nothing to sit on

I quite like the pink flower in the background, gives context

Have a nice week-end, Jon, thank you for sharing!

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
